About Me

Love stories, brave heroines, and hopeful endings are my jam.

After dreaming of being an author for years, I took the plunge and self-published Light and Fire, my first YA fantasy series. I first started writing Half-Blood Mage, the first novel in the series, after giving birth to my second child. After receiving about a dozen or so rejections from various literary agents, I took my creative future into my own hands and self-published my first novel.

And I've never looked back.

In the process, I...

  • "Came out" as a writer to my family and friends
  • Doubted myself and shed countless tears
  • Lost many hours of sleep
  • Gained way too many gray hairs
  • Ate hundreds of pounds of salami (I'm a sucker for processed meats)
  • Made thousands of mistakes
  • Learned a TON about being a creative entrepreneur
  • Found a few kindred writerly spirits...

And I published a YA Fantasy series and a sweet YA HS Romance series.
